Tony’s love for having food at the heart of everything began with his mother, who has been a huge influence on him throughout his life. “All the memories I have about food are with my mother, eating together in my childhood”, for she, like other Arabic mothers, would spend hours on a daily basis in the kitchen preparing food for everyday meals or special occasions.
